OUR WORKSHOP
With a collection of hundreds of hat blocks, our ability to dream & create every shape & silhouette is limitless. Each felt is hand steamed and stretched to fit the shapes we are producing. Our straws are all sewn to perfection using techniques & sewing machines dating back to the hey day of the millinery industry in the early 1900s, and each piece is finished and trimmed by the skilled hands of the founder, Shirley, and her very small team of trimmers & hat makers. Only a handful of milliners are still manufacturing & creating hats at this level in the Unites States, and Sherel's Hats is proud to be one of those few.
